I am raising money to support Dress for Success NSW & ACT's life-changing programs and services.
Dress for Success is an organisation that supports women facing financial challenges to transform their lives, providing practical tools free of charge; supporting them not only to survive today but to thrive in the years beyond.
They do this a number of ways but one avenue is that they dress and style women who need clothes for an interview or for the first few days / weeks in a new job.
Today, and for the month of August, I ask you to donate quality and 'as new' women's items to support Dress for Success clients and to stock their fashion fundraising sales.
Start the spring cleaning early and donate what you have in your closet. New or as new items only - think 'Would I still wear this? Would I wear it for work or to go out and feel special? Would I give it or lend to a friend? Is it current or classic fashion?' If the answer is yes, we are your people!'
1/ Clothing suitable for contemporary women working across all industries. Trendy, smart and / or casual - to wear in the modern workplace and for joining via virtual meetings from home.
2/ Other things that are needed:
- Good condition handbags
- High-quality jewellery / costume jewellery
