Run for HER

I am raising money to support Dress for Success' Empower Her campaign.

Dress for Success does incredible work across Australia empowering women and transforming their lives through supporting their financial independence. I am very proud to support this great organisation. By supporting Dress for Success we can help women gain the confidence they deserve to thrive in their career and their life for years to come.

In support of Dress for Success I am committing to complete the Port Stephens Half Marathon in under 2hrs, on the 1st December. All funds raised will go straight to Dress for Success services supporting women seeking employment. 

As I get a little.....uhum....older, I am very conscious to stay as fit and healthy as I can so I set myself fitness goals every couple of months to keep me motivated. I last ran a half marathon about 12 years ago and it was a pretty slow effort. This time with more training I hope to do it under 2 hours. But however hard it is or how much effort goes into it running a half marathon it is nothing compared to the struggles some women face as they enter or try to reenter the workforce. The work Dress for Success does supporting these women as they work to move their lives forward is incredible so please join me in supporting Dress for Success and, most importantly, the women they serve.
